Pastimes

Macie is growing up so fast, and it seems like she changes every day!  She is the funnest little baby and we just love her to pieces! She's now 8 months old already!  She is a busy little girl!  Getting into everything she can get her hands on, and she's always underfoot.  She's not much of a cuddler, but every once in a while she surprises us, and we enjoy every second of it. Overall, she's very happy, and pretty calm and even tempered. I think she waved to someone for the first time today, but I can't be sure!  We also think she has started signing "all done" and shaking her head "no", but still not absolutely sure. We are so blessed to have her in our family!

I've pictured a few of her favorite pastimes below.  First you'll notice she starts out in this picture with a bow on her head....

And here, you can see she has pulled it off....

..and now she has removed the whole head band!  She is such a little stinker about her bows!  She never leaves them alone!  But I just keep putting them on again and again, day after day, in hopes that one day she'll decide she likes them!

She LOVES to stare out the window in our living room. She often welcomes Lance home from school this way.  

We can't seem to keep her away from the dishwasher.  If it's open, she's there.

Another favorite pastime: being the cutest little girl in the world! The boy are standing in front of her taking turns pushing her, and as you can see, she is loving all the attention.

Getting stuck in strange places.

Sticking her face up against the window.

Loving her brothers.  She thinks these two guys are pretty funny stuff. And as you can imagine, they love that she finds them funny and are always being little clowns for her.

Pulling herself up on anything and everything.  She hasn't yet mastered walking along things, and she can't push this toy quite yet.
