We took a quick Saturday trip to Yellowstone while we were in Star Valley. I've only been like twice in my life, and we thought it would be fun for the kids since we were so close. We were hoping to see some bears along the way, but we were not so lucky. Only half a dozen elk. We got there with just a few minutes to spare before Old Faithful did her thing. The kids really liked that. Then we walked along the path and saw all the hot springs and what not. We climbed as high as we could up the stairs in the cool Old Faithful Inn, and then headed back home. On the way home, we had to stop for buffalo crossing the road. I think that might have been Parker's favorite part of the day!
